Our Story.
Given the rave of Chat GPT, many students are relying on chatbots to complete tasks and evade deep thinking. As a result, students are losing their ability to develop creative ideas. Especially young writers such as elementary, middle, and high school students are being impacted. Cruise incentivizes writing productivity and creativity to help these students retain and strengthen their writing skills.
Our Mission.
Cruise is a Chrome Extension for Google Docs to help increase writing productivity and creativity. It alerts users of writer's block and goal completion. It stimulates creativity through using Natural Language Processing and Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count as well as incorporating a Break Model. Throughout the writing process, the user receives updates and guidance in real-time to make writing more seamless.
